I'm guessing it's chambered in .223? Yes, they do come chambered in other calibers. Is that a 16" barrel?

The optic model versions have been selling for between $1300 and $1500. This appears to be the second generation that accepts AR mags. The first didn't and the third added a forward assist. Not a bad deal with all the mags.

My AUG (the real one) is my most prized firearm. The MSAR is not a bad copy of it at half the price.

Thanks nut. I'm gonna try to work a partial trade with the guy. I think I want it. And yes, it is the AR mag version. Do you know how decent that scope is?

Yeah, that is a good deal IMHO especially with the magazines. Pobably close to $200 in mags there alone. My preference would be for the flat top rail model so I could use a Eotech or Aimpoint on it. It using standared M16 mags instead of Aug mags is a + in my opinion and makes this one more desireable because M16 mags are everywhere and as little as $7 to $8 bucks for new CProducts mags.

Thats the deal maker for me. I have a few P-Mags and a zillion USGI 20 and 30 rounders.

Seller declined my trade offer. He wants a Glock 19 Gen. 3 and cash, or all cash. Just in case any of you all are interested. If I had the cash I'd get it, but I need a water heater.

My local gun shop has one that one of the employees is trying to sell for 1400. This one does not have an optic, just a rails and is currently back at the factory for a recall on the mag catch. I am thinking of offering him 1300 for it but am wondering how bad is the trigger is on these?

Interesting, I'm planning on ordering one next week, I want the optics, green stock with the 16 inch barrel but I'm going with the model that takes the original mags. I'll probably have the same amount in it once you figure in the mags.

When did you buy your AUG? Just curious. I picked up mine in 1986 so the prices were quite a bit lower than the 'post import ban price'. I'm kicking myself for not getting the HBAR kit at the same time.
