This is just about a perfect pairing. Both lean toward the mild end of their spectrum. The cigar is a robusto 5x50 with a nice light wrapper. Cedar and smooth buttery creaminess. Mild. Good burn...a couple relights but even. Flavors strengthened in the final third.

The bourbon is floral as the name suggests. Sweet, very little bite at 90*. Vanilla cream, cherry, light finish. Each sip makes you want another...The leaves have started to turn here. The weather is just about perfect. The sun is setting. Life is damn good. Hope you're enjoying the small pleasures.

Speaking for Matt, Stan and myself we are just trying to uphold the high standards of this place in your absence. Its a lot of hard work and a huge sacrifice but someone's gotta do it. :lool:
