Since, none of the Walmarts in middle Tennessee seem to ever have .22, and I can only occasionally find and buy one 50 rd box at a time from Academy Sports, I guess I am ready to over-pay for a brick or two. I only have a couple bricks plus three or four 50 rd boxes and I forsee the stuff disappearing. I saw an advertisement for Alamo Ammo, but their website takes me to weird places and makes me suspicious.

I picked up a couple of bricks from Midway a few months ago at NON-inflated prices. Keep your eye out there, as in check twice a day everyday, until some shows up.

I moved this thread to a more appropriate forum.

The Norma at Midway is the cheapest at 12 cents a round and that is pathetic for .22 LR. About 4 times more than it should cost. I'm holding off and just not popping for 12 cents or more for plinker grade ammo.

Hmm, I may just man-up and buy some. I hate to, but if there is soon no more to find anywhere, I will be glad I did. Thanks for the link.
