A report I heard on the radio stated that it was her inheritance that she stashed behind one of the drawers. When she went to sell the desk she could not find it and figured she moved it to another location and could not recall where. If it were me and my desk, I would have torn that desk apart trying to locate that money. I am glad to hear that the buyer of the desk had the right idea and returned the cash. Can't say I would have made the right decision. I like to think that I would have done the same thing, but I just don't know. $98 grand is a lot of money and it would definately help me out. Damn, did I just label myself a dirtbag?

I would return it. I have found two peoples wallets just as they were lost them. It would of been so easy to pick them up and keep walking, instead I hailed them and told them that they'd dropped their wallets. Both were happy, I felt good as that's the way I'd like to be treated.

Buy some toys, some corn wiskey (legal stuff just to be safe) and stuff the rest under a mattress. Just use a little to each month for grocery shopping and you save more earned money in the bank. At least thats what I would figure. Of course someone would eventually raid or steal from under my mattress and I would be out of luck. ;-(
