I grew up just a couple miles from where these guys lived as well as a few other Opry greats. God I miss entertainers who could charm with a simple song or a story.

I forget which show they were regulars on, but I loved watching and listening to them, too.

Hee Haw Bro. And they were regulars on the Opry. At night you might can pick up the Opry on AM 650. Not quite like it was in the 60s and 70s but still great.

There's always NEW GRASS…….Chris Stapleton is one of the most talented artists that you'll ever run across. Lead singer of The Steeldrivers and The Jompson Brothers, he's also written songs for George Strait, Darius Rucker (Hootie and the Blowfish), Kenny Chesney, Josh Turner, Tim McGraw, and Luke Bryan. He's a legend in song-writing circles and is more talented than over half of Nashville.

Yeah I agree, while country music has been dying a slow crappy death, bluegrass has been rolling along nicely and has a lot of young talent .

Not yet but I damn sure want to. It's in Cumberland Caverns, right? I've watched it on tv. Good stuff.
