another +++ for rcbs

i broke the plastic primer catcher on my old reloader special press. i broke it. it didnt break on its own. it was a moving accident. this press is surely much older than me. its the rs2. i inherited it from a friend.

i wrote rcbs last night with the part number, asking if it was still available and the price of it. by the time i got home from work today at 15:00, i had a short reply email.

"just shipped it out to you. no charge."

that quick. that easy. no questions asked. imo, you cant beat that kind of service.

I've had them fix dicked up dies that were 25+ years old at no cost.

I know they're quality but that surprises me that they shipped the part at no charge. I'm impressed.

as was i. i would never expect any manufacturer to cover a little dinky plastic part like that.

few years ago i broke a decapping pin off in my 6.5x55 die set from RCBS because of a berdan primed case that got passed my inspection. Totally my fault. Was just the pin. I email asking about it and they sent me a little baggie with a half dozen more little pins in it. for free
