I was under the impression that she merely disappeared down a hallway, came back a few minutes later and stated "Yes, there is a birth certificate. Now run along".

The fake certificates were produced by the "regime".

The first one had all three versions posted at three web sites debunked by at least three independent forensic document specialists. The second posted at Whitehouse.gov has been declared a fraud by Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Cold Case Posse and independently by other document specialists.

She was the one that (IIRC) that declared the first one "official"... sort of... we have... err... something on file...
