Yep, when SHTF, this is going to be a major issue. I'm personally not too worried about it - I'm tucked away off of a dirt/gravel road with plenty of folks just like me that they'd have to get through before they ever made it to my place. And God help them if they do make it....

I have a cabin tucked away in the middle of the woods. When it was robbed. None of the locals had seen anything. I used to think that it was a good bug out place. But then anyone of my neighbors out there with a deer rifle would take what I used to have. IF the shtf. I would stay where I am. Protect what I have and hope that I got to wall mart before everyone else did.

Every bug out item that I had was stolen from my "bugout" hideway.
