I had a scope and that replacement dust cover mount for my Chinese SKS and it sucked. It was the worst piece of shit ever made


Dont waste your money. The Dust cover moves around regardless of how much you try to shim it. Probably get similar results screwing a scope to the handguard with wood screws

the mount base on this style bolts on to the receiver and the scope mount is shaped like a inverted j the scope attaches at the end of the curve. you can use the scope or the iron sights.
