Firearms sales from Mission Hills home opposed

An appeal of a permit that would allow the sale of firearms from a Mission Hills home is expected to reach the Santa Barbara County Planning Commission this fall, according to county planning staff.
A public hearing on the matter has yet to be scheduled, but it should reach the planning panel in about two months for consideration, said Zoraida Abresch, a supervising planner.
After the commission has decided on the appeal, the losing party could petition the county Board of Supervisors, Abresch said.
