AFAIK this is the first time Buck has offered the Model 120 General with Cocobola scales so I snagged one.

IMO the burgundy sheath goes with the scales much better than the standard black sheath. Buck also has the 105 Pathfinder, 118 Personal and the 103 Skinner in the same Cocobola scales. IIRC the 119 Special was offered in Cocobola not that long ago. Having all of them would make for a very nice presentation.

Holy Jeezum that's a sweet looking knife!

And now it looks like I need a 120 to go with my other Bucks.

Yeah, I was very pleased when it arrived. I've got an older 120 and a new Boone & Crockett 120 in addition to this one. Still looking for a nice Model 620 with the rubber handle. The 120 has been a favorite of mine for a long while now. As far as Buck fixed blades go, at least with the classic models I think everyone should have a 120, 119 and a 124 at the very least. All are iconic Buck models.

Very nice. My father was a big buck knife collector.
