Well, I'm sure not going to freak out over the thread title, at least not until I read what it's actually about.

....Ok, so a questionnaire to see what influences news decisions made over publicly owned airwaves, that we allow private companies to use partly because they promised to actually provide news to the country.

Possibly including a guy who might shadow people in the editorial rooms to figure out how decisions are made...for what, maybe a few weeks while the study is done.

And it's something they can basically opt out of or ignore.

Doesn't give them any power to decide what goes on the news, just to study how the decisions are made....not really a huge onus of the First Amendment
