Same to ya, brother! ;)

And I'll have it be known; that I've not touched a sheep in years! ;)

Oh hey, I'd like to have a taste of that GL-18!

Enjoying my 2nd glass of Eagle Rare at the moment.

Happy St. Pat's to you as well. My daughters birthday is 3/17 so we'll be celebrating a bit for both her and Patrick.

I cooked corned beef with cabbage potatoes and carrots a week age and took it to work...

I'm home sick after three months in Kali... I'm cooking Texas Chile. And HELL NO, no beans!

Irish on both sides of my family, with some Scots & English in the mix as well. Had a family get-together yesterday & I cooked some steak filets on the Weber. The wife cooked a big batch of baked potatoes in the oven (one of life's truly great house aromas :biggrina:) & tossed a huge salad. Said grub was washed down with Wexford Cream Ale & Murphy's Stout.

Nice! :)

My grandmother made colcannon, but used green onions vs kale or cabbage.

This is my first effort at colcannon. Bacon, green onion, cabbage and fresh parsley. And butter. Gotta say it friggin rocked.

The "Scotch Irish" not having cabbage or potatoes on the Frontier made this and called it "Polk Salad". If you have to Google Polk you most likely grew up in the ? Oh well you know?

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
