Ford Bronco returning for 2016

The SVT team at Ford will be replacing the Raptor with a reincarnation of the Bronco for 2016. There will be a diesel engine option and it will have solid one-ton front and rear axles (Dana 60 and 10.25 Sterling). Manual and automatic gear boxes will be available. Sounds like a winner! It’s finally happening: after waiting 20 long years Ford is bringing back the Ford Bronco for 2016 and it’s not the Early Bronco concept that was unveiled to the world in 2004 like many believed. This all-new Ford Bronco is based off the highly popular Ford Atlas and if history does indeed repeat itself, this could kick-start the 2-door 4x4 SUV market once again.

Glad it's not real. It's got some go to it, but it's so full of "bling" that it'd be out of most folks price range. The bronco was partly so successful because it was a budget 4X4 that worked. Imagine if ford came out with a car that didn't have A/C but a vent that actually vented air, rather than blowing through a complex series of ductwork.

Nice, I've had a couple Broncos and a Bronco II. Loved them all. Trucks are so expensive these days. I might get one when its three years old..

I read it all... reminds me of 08.. I think motor trend did one about since .gov bailed out chevy and dodge the administration decided they would be dropping out of nascar the next year.. I fell for that.. took it to work.. saw the retraction the next day saying it was a joke and thought people had more sense.. they got alot of hate mail!!!!!
