A: Equality. Equality appears to be fair. In actuality, equality is not fair because humans are greedy, selfish beings. Their will always be weak and strong, Colored and non-colored, dumb and smart, tall and short, ETC. As long as some of these natural inequalities are present..........Equality is a dream.

A: Why? Again humans are greedy selfish beings. In a time of hardship (Ex. Freighted, Starving, hurt physically or emotionally), humans lose all since of rational thinking. In the metropolitan areas with large populations, people will kill each other to have what they don't or can't have. In lower populated rural areas people, survival will be hard but not as hard as in the metropolitan areas. The farther you are away from large concentration of humans.......the higher the probability of survival.

A: Some people will work to "make it" ( follow rules ). Some people will take from others to "make it"( Break Rules ). As long as these two opposites are present, society will always be hobbling. It is human nature to cheat or want to cheat. It is part of our internal instincts. Again Equality is a dream.

Think of our current tax system and how complicated it has become since inception. The government wouldn't be able to cook the books and manipulate the population if it was simple. Complicate it to the point very little know anything about it and sculpt it in to whatever you want ( IRS ).

Well duh....

Much lower population density so resources won't run out as quickly, plus being out in the sticks you keep a deeper inventory.

In urban areas nescessities are readily available at anytime, but if those resources suddenly stop thousands if not millions of people will quickly use up the inventories and unlike rural people they don't produce their own foodstuffs.

It's a lot easier to keep a few scattered independent groups alive than a large complex city of thousands.
