I wish now that instead of buying two 200 count humidors, that I would have just got one of these larger footlocker types and been done with it. Live and learn I guess.

I got by for years with just a little 30 count desk top humidor, but at that time I was buying all of my smokes from the local b&m. My habit was to drop by the cigar store every friday afternoon and grab what I thought I'd want to smoke over the weekend and through the next week.

But these days I order my smokes from Europe and it usually takes a couple of weeks at least to get them. Tho I did have one order that was at my doorstep 5 days after I had ordered it, that was pretty impressive all things considered. So now I try to order enough to last 6 months or so. That takes space, and keeping an eye on 3 or 4 different humidors is crazy, so, I got this one. Its identical (except for size) to my nicer 200 count humidor. I think this will serve me well.

It has two cedar trays and a cavernous vault below those.

Anything I wish to age, will obviously be in the bottom and I can smoke out of the trays. Next I need to get a Cigar Oasis for humidity control and I'll be set.

Few things more beautiful than a fine cigar. Tho the color of good bourbon is pretty mesmerizing too. :)

Beautiful 'dores. I manage to squeak by on my 30-count stogie-holder the missus bought for me years ago. That was before the woman turned crazy & started claiming cigar smoking was "bad for my health". ;)

My issue started when my local store stopped carrying the variety they once had. Plus they jacked the prices way up. $14 for a white label Monticristo Churchill is nuts.

Then I started buying online, later Stan talked me into the auction racket, then a certain someone sent me a couple of Cubans, and its been downhill ever since. :)

Sometimes the Path of Least Resistance can be the wise man's move, aka downhill. ;)

I'm not complaining. Tho the wife has kind of freaked at some of the checks I've written a couple times to pay off my Visa before I got charged interest. ;)

So, I sat her down and showed her the math. I'm not spending anymore now really than I did before. $8 for a smoke is still $8 regardless where comes from and if you buy in bulk vs incrementally. The average over a years time is still the same. Science!!!

Just picked up my third one recently. It's actually enroute at this moment. That make 3. Two 100-capacity and a 300. Plus I also have an acrylic humi-jar that can hold a bundle of 50-rings.
