We haven't had any measurable rain in several months here in central NC. The grass has turned brown and the pine trees have alot of the needles turning brown. I have never seen my pond so low. We are suppose to get a couple of inches in the next couple of days and it's suppose to cool down. I got a feeling we are going to go straight to winter. Why not? It seems like we went from winter to summer and skipped spring this year.

Well that will help get your water supply back up. It has been dry around here in the latter part of summer.

I welcome the cooling trend after all the 90 degree days we had here this year.

Rained here all day. And supposed to for the next three days. Great news. But, for the fact that I am off the next two. Figures. First two days off in a long time.

In eastern MD, we've only had a little over 2 inches all summer. Managed to get 14/100 so far today, but it's supposed to rain more tonight and all day tomorrow.

It seems my area is in some kind of rain bubble. It rained all around me this summer, but nothing here. Trees are already dropping their leaves and they went from green to brown; no colors.

39 and dropping, scattered frost warnings for our area. We set a high record for the last 90 days worth of rainfall. You guys must be hogging all of the global warming, could you send some of it up here please. We can spare about 10" of rain in trade for it.

Today was overcast here in north Idaho, but the next 9 days is to be from 75-80 and sunny.
Good for me to get my roof done, but that is a whole different story.

You too huh?
I just finished a roof in Nevada for my mom.
Now I need to fix mine too before the snow hits here.

We were blessed today with almost an inch and half of rain since noon Sunday. Thank the makers.

The monsoon season didn't give us much rain here in Northwestern Arizona. We still have the summer heat which should have mellowed a month ago. Around 100 degrees, today.

Going to rain up here in NH all week. For some reason I love driving in the rain, its so relaxing to hear the rain hit the roof.

Believe it started here late Saturday night, early Sunday morning and hasn't stopped yet. Things were getting pretty dry, even after a really wet July so we needed it. That being said I'm getting tired of it already. Feel like I'm living back in Oregon.

Not many floods from last Spring but the Wisconsin and Rock Rivers are high, levee's are in danger, houses that are 32 years old and never ever had water in their basement are in danger of getting their basements flooded and we had frost last night. Not a good time to be recovering if the levee's break and homes get flooded. Good thing is the next week should be around 65 high and 40 low and dry. The high river a mile from my house is from rain in north and central Wisconsin 5 days ago.

Finally got some rain worth mentioning. 2.24" and still raining. The ground is sucking it up like a sponge. The grass may still be brown, but it's standing taller now.

Would love to send you about 6", a lot of people south and east of me would breath a heavy sigh of relief.
