Other stuff besides Duracoat ?

I dont like my Duracoating I need to know how do you remove it ? Or a shop that would strip it and refinish it any Ideas ?

I use this stuff called Klean-Strip. This shit will remove anything, including skin but won't harm the metal. Paint it on with a brush and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. Like I said, don't get it on your hands, it feels similar to battery acid.

I don't know. I had a 1911 GunKoted and wanted to take some of the shine off. Sand paper wouldn't touch it.

I like the NP3 finish ..

My boss at work swears up and down that the NP3 finish is the best out there. I personally choose Molyresin. All of my AK's are finished in either a flat black, or a semi-gloss black Molyresin finish and not only do they look great, the finish is still solid after thousands of rounds and 100's of trips through the desert.
