I cry for the days when a Maadi was a Maadi, and not a bunch of parts on an American receiver and an additional 5 USA made parts to make the rifle meet a sporting purpose clause of the new ATF second amendment. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about American manufacturers. In fact I am thrilled to see them making parts for AKMs. Just wish we had the right to keep and bear arms that was not infringed so that for $600 we would get a made in Egypt Maadi and not 10 Maadi parts on a USA receiver for the same $600.

And to think, in Egypt you can buy a real AKM for some food and possibly a farm animal.
