Nice.

We're bringing in butter lettuce & spinach right now.

Soon to be accompanied by sweet banana peppers, Best Boy tomatoes, and pickle cucumbers. :anim_beer-1:

I got my taters in late this year. The primary hope is that I can get enough to have a good supply of seed taters to put in early next year.

I've been buying heirloom seeds and plan to have a large garden next year. New homestead and I am still trying to find out what I can grow well up here near the Canukistan border in Washington state.

Nope, never thought to eat it raw, but I have grilled it.

No time machine, just fingers that get ahead of themselves at times.

The corn does want out of the trellis confinements. Georgia soil in my area is shit, barely can grow grass. These raised beds have a mix of ; 1/3rd Peatmoss, 1/3rd Vermiculite and 1/3rd Compost. I call it synthasoil. It is very light material and doesn't support tall corn plants overly well until the secondary roots pop out of the stalks. Before that wind and heavy ran can lay the crop down so that's why it is fenced in to support it until it can stand on its own.

If I posted pics of my garden all you would see is soill. Just got it planted lasat weekend. The soil was still a little too moist to rototill very well.

I am waiting another week and a half to put the sweet corn in. My buddy planted some last weekend, so going to space it out a bit.

For all you GMO haters out there I am planting roundup ready sweet corn again this year. My back thanks me for not have to rototill or hand weed the sweet corn. Just bring the sprayer.

My strawberries should be ready in about a week or so I am thinking. looks like it will be an awesome crop this year.

Garden update, beets are starting to come in. These are Sylindra heirloom grade beets. They grow long vs. round so you get a lot of uniform slices for canning over a traditional round beet.
