$400 for a Browning 95??? Shit man you did good.

And so did I, but on a 405 Winny: ($750)

And here's a slo-mo video of me shooting it at the range:

Browning made these in 1984 only. There were 6,000 chambered in .30-06 and 2000 chambered in .30/40 Krag in the standard grade. I believe you 'stole' this rifle. LOL

I think he did better than me. $400 for a nice Browning is well less than 1/2 the value. Mine is maybe 70% - not that I'm complaining... I actually got this at a gun shop - they told me that a guy brought in 80+ guns - put them all on consignment - is going through a divorce and doesn't want his ex to get the guns. So I made out. There were some other nice ones that I'd of really liked but only so much money...

And something to consider: you could have that rebarreled or rebored to something like 375 Hawk (necked up 30-06) and have a really cool big bore. Phil Shoemaker, an Alaskan guide uses one as a back up gun for coastal brown bears...

I won't be rebarreling this one. This rifle has the typical used dings and scuffs but is in far better shape than what I could find on gunbroker.
