ATI FX11 1911 from Ky Gun

I got this in an email from Ky Gun. Less than $300 for a 1911 seems too good to be true. I've never heard of this brand before.

These pistols are actually made by Shooter Arms Manufacturing Inc. located in Cebu, the Philippines. Shooter Arms Manufacturing has been around since 1992. Previously Shooter Arms Manufacturing firearms have been imported by Century International Arms, located in Delray Beach, FL and Pacific Arms Corp. in Modesto, CA. Their main competitor is Armscor/Rock Island also located in the Philippines. I believe the one being offered is the ATI Firepower Xtreme GI 1911.

I have an ATIFX 1911. They are actually a pretty good 1911. I have had no problems with mine. My first shot ever with it was actually a center bulls eye.

if anything , replace the recoil guide rod.



Guy i work with has one and his rod broke around 300 rounds. Bought a new one and it runs like a top.

I have an ATI Extreme GI and it's a great gun. I've had it for about 2-3 years and have had no problems, so far.

When I go shooting, my grandson hogs it and I'm lucky to even get a shot.

And it would be a good candidate to learn 1911 gunsmithing.
