Ok..maybe over the past few days some of you have been experiencing the HTTP 503 error when accessing GN. Thats my handywork. :-)
Sorry about that. I'm using a piece of software that helps auto-ban known bots and other bad IP's. When doing a search on GN some folks are blocked because the software "thought" you were doing a PHP hack attempt. I'm working with the configuration of that piece of software so it doesnt happen. At this time I have disabled that software until I get that part fixed.

Once its re-enabled, you shouldnt have issues.

Alex at BartonekDragRacing dot com is where you'd email me once I re-enable it if you have issues. Make sure you include your IP address when you have the 503 error.

going to re-enable the Spam blocking software. Might be painful to some folks. I need to see what gets blocked and adjust accordingly.

LOL. I'm sure you werent hacking. The software "checks" to see what is in the url and if it looks like a PHP hacking attempt, it'll ban your IP. The problem is, what was sent in the URL from what I saw was legitimate stuff and was misinterpreted as a hack attempt. Its been running for a few days so now I'm going to look at the logs to see how its working.

It got me tonight. Funny thing is I was able to get in via VPN. So, can I guess my real IP has been flagged?

I've been getting that message too, but only when I try accessing the Humidor forum. Odd?

Its because of the ** asterisks.. I changed the way the software was evaluating link requests. You should be fine now.
