My mother's going through a bunch of old (some very old) family photos and I was thinking that they should really be scanned and cataloged somehow. I think I'm looking for some kind of photo data base software. Something that would allow you to attach notes to each photo on who is in them, when it was taken, and where it was taken would be great. It would really be nice if you could do a search query that would allow you to pull up photos based on those notes too. An example would be to pull up all photos taken in 1969, or at the house at such and such street, or all photos with GrandPa smith in them. That would be a great photo data base.
Does anyone know if such a program exists, if so do you have any experience with it?
