Galil in planning stages to come to the US! not in production yet dates may be set by time of SHOT show. tentative plans are for a pistol and a 16" barreled rifle in 7.62x39 with 5.56 and 7.62x51 to follow later. Stock rifle is well appointed no need for aftermarket rail systems on these. Pistol variant to come with arm brace. Price not yet determined but likely under $2,000 but not by much.

I have heard about this, but at the price you stated, just what we don't need is another rifle priced around $2000.

They are cool looking. I had one of those "Century" clones for a short time
Had to sell it but really don't miss it much
Was never real crazy about the rear sight sitting on the cover.
I didn't really care for the way the cover and gas tube assembly kind of just "wedged" together to get them in place
Maybe a pre-ban or a better constructed one would get me interested again but not at that price
