i find it hard to wrap my head around why such an aversion to it? if i were to play armchair psychiatrist, i would say they feel that they are too backward and primitive, and therefore must try to put on an air of sophistication to distance themselves from what they despise about themselves. or maybe the whole mousilini thing has them afraid to look backward at all.

either way, imo, its more humane, it gives the animal more chance to get away, you need to be a much better hunter to get within bow range. i cant understand why so much hate for it?

I don't think they hate bow hunting as much as I think they hate the idea of hunting in general. To allow another type of hunting is backwards, not the type of hunting. Civilized people don't need to hunt as someone else will do the dirty work of killing and cleaning the animal for the civilized people.

could be, the article didnt seem to be anti-hunting, just anti-"medieval weaponry", but that is the liberal mo, pick out one small segment to turn everyone against to divide and conquer.
