And has offered me two pistols. Glock 22, and a highpoint 9mm. I am not really needing either one. Might be able to get both for 450.00. That is the only details that I currently have. I only have one pistol in .40, and that is a G23. I do have a ton of ammo though. What say you all? Do the deal?

Can't say much about the Hi-point but the G22 sells used in the range of $350 to $450. I personally look at a face to face sale as a bonus, so to me it looks like a reasonable deal.

For what it's worth, if you aren't in a hurry for the money and don't want to keep either, you could always put the G22 up for sale at $450 and see what happens. Then anything you can get for the Hi-point would be a bonus.

There's been a glut of G22 police trade-ins on the market so don't expect to sell it right away or get top dollar. That and they're not one of the more popular Glock models with non-LEOs.

You'd probably sell the Hi-Point for a $100 quicker than you would the G22 for $350-400. 40s in general aren't really big sellers, especially full-size duty pistols.


Still that's not a bad price for the two just don't expect to make much off the deal if you decide to resell them.

Meh......I don't know how social you are but I could find a buyer amongst my circle of friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers, etc......to buy the Hi-Point for a $100.

Always somebody that wants a 9mm for cheap.


Now getting somebody to lay down $400 for a Glock .40 especially a big full-size one would be a lot tougher. Most of them don't even realize there are calibers other than .45 or 9mm and would look at it like it was some alien's ray-gun.

Those who do know would think I was trying to get over on them with some old police trade-in I had got for cheap at a pawn shop.

Nope. Just a salt of the earth working man who didn't have a ton of money and wanted some kind of handgun for home protection. Hi Points are ugly as hell in my opinion, but check out some of the reviews on YouTube. Especially some of the crazy shit Iraqveteran8888 did in their torture test.
