I received the CZ-5 I purchased from the Red Star estate today.
This is the 2nd CZ-52 I've purchased from the estate.
After inspecting the CZ carefully, I've concluded this one is unissued.
Everything is pristine. The mag followers have no marks, which indicates they were never loaded.
Dated 1954. Very discreet import mark under the frame. TG Guns, Knox, TN
The holster is also pristine, also dated 1954.
The red grips (made by ZEE in 2004) have been replaced with NEW issued grips.

Here some pics. I am very pleased with this 52!!!

Very nice. Reclaiming guns from fallen GNS members is an awesome thing.

Are the grips less pink looking in person?

BTW, good to have you back. I thought that wife of yours might have finally scalped you. ;)

Thanks. I lurk here from time to time.
The grips are more blood red, no pinkish tint at all.
Hard to get scalped when you're not married. The 'live with' may be a different story. :-|

A member here, whos2kno, alerted me of Red Star's wife's listings on gunbroker.
Do a search there under redstar estate.

Was his boardname Z-recto here is 2003?
The guy who made the grips was going by ZEE back then.

Here's a few of his grips he made for me.

Probably so.
He's on another board. I'll ask him when I get a chance.

Slamfire51, good to see your post. If you're in contact with Who's tell him to stop in and post.
