Gentlemen, meet Chester

Picked up my new puppy today, he's a 6 week old German Shepard/Husky mix. My wife claimed naming rights because she didn't want me to give him "some dumb gun related name like Ruger, Beretta, Smith or Wesson ". So i asked what she was going to name him, she says, "i'll know when i meet him.It went like this on the ride home...

Me, "Well, what's his name?

Her, "give me a minute, i'm thinking."
(this could take a while)

Me, "So what's his name?"

Her, "CHESTER"

Me, "Are you sure?"

Her, "Absolutely, doesn't he look like a Chester?"

Me, "I guess so, are you sure ?"

Her, "Yes, and it's final, he'll be my sidekick like dennis weaver in the the original Gunsmoke"

Me, " OK, Chester it is, i kind of like that, Chester will be his last name......and his first name can be WIN"

Her, " AARRRGGGHHH"

Without further ado, meet Win.....Chester :)

Yea, my wife is kind of, well.....weird like that, her other pair has little rubber duckys all over them....I think as she gets older she regresses further into her childhood

Anyone ever use those puppy pee pads? They have a scent that attracts the puppy. So far they are working, he has peed and pooped on them everytime.
They're like a flat baby diaper with that absorbent and a plastic back

We have always used them. We put them at the door that the pup will use to go outside. Nice little pup.

Cool dog my daughter just adopted a three year old about 90 lbs
Got to sit for him a couple weeks ago
Look forward to more visits and longer walks. I like dogs
