Suit against Kan. gun dealer sent to trial court

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - A grieving mother will get another chance to make the case that a Kansas gun shop should be held liable after a weapon it sold was used by a felon to kill his son and himself.
The Kansas Court of Appeals ruled Friday that 1 of Elizabeth Shirley's claims against Baxter Springs Gun & Pawn Shop and the store's owners deserved attention at the trial-court level.
