I don't see it as a Prequel exactly. To have that status it would have to cover the first show's people before the zombie outbreak. I am interested to see how they portray the start of the epidemic.

I don't see it as a Prequel exactly. To have that status it would have to cover the first show's people before the zombie outbreak. I am interested to see how they portray the start of the epidemic.
With the fact that it takes place in L.A., I'm curious to see if they will accurately portray how ugly things can get in such a densely-populated area after a disaster. There should be no shortage of action/drama in this one, hopefully.

You do know that the "original" NCIS was itself a spinoff right?

I'll check it out. But I haven't watched "The Walking Dead" sense Beth was killed off. Something tells me that there are plans to have the LA group start heading East with an eventual meet up - and war - with the other (first) group. I see this happening after a few seasons.

Frankly it was about what I thought the first episode would be. After all it IS the start of the Zombie Apocalypse, not the full blown aftermath.
