Getting a Sar-3 this weekend , but bubba just had to play with the normal FSB. :losing-it:

What would have been the proper FSB on this for mil. issue/pre-export neutering ???

Romanian with 22mm threads.

I found one on K-var back in 2011 for a SAR-3 de-banning project. I don't know if they still carry them or not. I had to get the 22mm break from CNC Warrior.

Funky is right. The original SAR-3 before leaving Romania had a threaded front sight base with 22mm threads. ATF said it was ok that way as there were no flash hiders, illegal at that time, that would fit those threads. For some reason Century cut them off anyway.

The correct front sight with the 22mm threads pop up from time to time, wish I could remember where I saw them.

If brain starts to function again I promise I will post it.

good lowd..

i searched around and I'd be out damn near $200 at prices now .

I remember FAC selling the complete FSB with the brake for $24 in 04 ....

I'll just buy a standard non bubba'd FSB from apex for a few bucks for now.

Good thing Linx310 made a DIY 22mm Romanian FSB tutorial back in the old days.

Home Made Romanian Threaded Sight Block (http://www.novarata.net/Linx310/fsbhome.shtml)
