There is no such thing as the "wrong" Buck knife.

You got that right! Congrats on your new 110.

After looking at your last thread on your buck 110 collection i decided to take the plunge. It is a really high quality knife. Not sure how i feel about the delicate point but this isn't a knife i will be using for hard work. This is a real gem. Completely happy.

Nice score!

I love these knives. Got the finger geooves on mine, but I like the smooth handle just as much if not more.

Not sure how i feel about the delicate point but this isn't a knife i will be using for hard work.

The point is delicate. When I was on my first ship I carried a 110. One day a buddy asked to borrow it so I handed it over. He took the knife, opened it and then dropped it point first onto the deck. The knife stuck into the tile, then tipped over (the handle is pretty heavy) and broke the tip off. While I was irritated with my friend it did not effect how I used the knife. Well, I guess I couldn't use it to clean my nails anymore, but I never really used it for that anyway.

Congratulations on the new knife! I think you will like it.
