Ghetto pawn shops (not chain stores with internet pricing) are about the last place to find affordable cartridges. Everyone knows whats up at flea markets and craigslist etc. nowadays.

Unfortunately we live in a time when Contra on cartridge costs almost $30.

We should have bought all this shit up 15 years ago when they were giving it away.

I get most of my retro game stuff at thrift shops.

SNES games are very expensive right now. They are about at the height of their price, I believe.

Genesis games are only just now stating to raise in price. I suggest stocking up on those as much as possible now and going back to NES/SNES later. The SNES will cost about the same in about a year, while I predict some NES games are going to start coming down some.

Also I recognize the guy in your avatar but can't place him. Whats that from?

Ah, Cobra. I need to watch that again.

Brian Thompson played in a lot of stuff so thats how I recognized his face. I think his small role as a street punk at the beginning of Terminator is what I've seem him in most. Although his role as Buffalo Bob in Joe Dirt is pretty good.

you know you can buy USB game pads from ebay that are very similar to the originals. For use with Emulators. I bought one that is a copy of the Sega Master System controller for under $10 shipped. They have a good long cord too.
