The project that I was almost able to get done 5.5 years ago. Remember my posts about a metal reinforced AK mag from back then? Is the rear lock lug metal or metal reinforced?

Says steel reinforced lockup points in the ad but the price is too high for me.

I remember. I just looked at my mag it looks like a metal lug. Price? It's a good price for that kind of mag.

If they can produce 5.45 mags at that price I'll gladly buy some. As for their 7.62x39 mags, You can still find all steel surplus mags in good shape for less, so I can't bring myself to pay that much for a steel reinforced polymer mag with no collector value of any sort.

The new magpul mags with steel reinforcement are only a couple bucks more.

If I end up putting the new magpul stuff on any of my AKs, I'll probably try to get a few magazines to match.
