Get your fucking priorites STRAIGHT.....
Hanging around would interrupt 0bama's vacations or his busy campaign and fund raising junkets.

Whats funny is some in Chile are complaining the President is making a campaign stop out of the ordeal, I guess everyone sees motives when it comes to politicians. I think you are right there was only one correct course of action the President could take and this was it, I'm glad he was there and I bet 90% of the country there is too.
