Just ran across this old post.....I'm helping a friend load for his 38 S&W/38-200. We found some .360" 140 gr. bullets....which shoot very accurately, but I can't find a source for anything heavier.

Rifle bullets, which might be heavy enough, aren't the correct diameter, and I'm sure any attempt to fire .401" bullets, even if they'd enter the chamber, could be disasterous.

Anyone know of a source of 200 gr. lead bullets .359-361"?

Nice pistol!

I just cleaned up my deceased grandfather's same pistol and returned it to my family. It looked the exact same and was left in a leather holster that looked like it came from the same period. Mine was a GHB marked pistol.

The trigger felt like a model 19 target trigger.
