Freemasonry was created during the 15th~16th century AD.

Masons have roots in the Order of The Templars.

The Templars were formed to protect Christian Pilgrims in the Holy Land.

Masons linked to Templars, and Templars linked to Christians.

So it's hard to know which version of the story to believe.

I thought that sounded incorrect; so I searched and my searches have the Free Masons beginning after the Knights Templar.
