I gave my first compound bow away earlier this year to a younger cousin, a PSE Nova that while it was a great bow I had out grown it and was ready to step up.

So a couple days ago I bought a new 2016 Hoyt defiant turbo, set to 70lbs and clocking arrows at 305 fps on the chrono.

Then today I had a personal first while sighting it in, I split an arrow, at 20yards, it was cool but cost me a $10 arrow.

Damn. That's the first time I've ever seen a Robin Hood shot.

Do you wear a green tunic and tights, too?

Nice shot! Do it again and I will buy you an arrow! I used to love archery,
while I never hunted that way I loved putting them on target.
I still have a 35lb recurve in my closet has not been strung in
25 years. I like your counter tops, once again nice shot.

I hope you put that on a plack and mount it on the wall. Just wow!

I'm still not going to let you shoot an apple off my head!
