Interesting. Looks like a relatively cheap way to get into .50 cal.

It's ugly, but looks like it will work as intended.

looks like an oversized H&R handy rifle with AR stock, heatsink and Tasco varmint scope. It looks weird. Why couldn't they just scale down the PTRD or something.

I had a BFG-50 from Serbu, number 95 in fact. Never got to fire it. All the ranges in NC where I lived at the time pussied out and banned them from being fired there. Sold it to a guy with 2000 acres of farm land.

If you're unaware of the history of this there is a kid on youtube who makes all kinds of homemade guns that got involved with Mark Serbu to develop it (guess what "RN" stands for)

If you get a chance check out the youtube vids by Royal Nonesuch. He's the one that inspired the design of this rifle. For a young guy he builds some pretty neat firearms from pretty basic hardware items. I could see him getting into firearm design/manufacture in the future and really shaking up the status quo.

ive watched a few of his videos long ago, and frankly, im surprised hes still alive.
