He put a picture of black and plastic things in the C&R section........................... :run-and-hide:

Going to give him a mulligan on this as I figure the black plastic things saw him get his camera and pushed their way to the front.

One of those ARs is retro. It may be of a pattern that would qualify as C&R if it was original.

1973 Colt SP1, it's getting close to being C&R

It is, except for the force matched barrel! It shoots very well, though a little low and to the left. Reliable though. It also looks better now that I have cleaned all the cosmolene off of it! On that gun it took two attempts to get it all off.

something like that, take off the grips and toss it in a metal coffee can full of gas for a few days.

Here is my Korean war era Garand with a period correct bayonet. I forget where I got the bayonet from but it was in the original packaging dated 1953, the same year as my Garand's manufacture!

Is the P38 a Russian capture?

I believe so. I got it from J&G about 18 months ago.

Here is a Bavarian M-1 Carbine that I got from CMP. It is a Inland manufactured in 1943 and as far as I can tell it is all original. At least all the parts are manufactured by the same company. It is also a lot of fun to shoot and very accurate.

I would love a Luger, not sure I want to pay the price, though.

The M1 carbine is definitely one of my favorite rifles.
