Very Nice!

I have a lot to learn about Enfields. I've sort of gotten into reading about the transition from single shot block powder cartridge rifles to small bore magazine rifles recently.

Are any of those Lee-Metfords? I don't currently have the necessarily experience to recognize British rifles by sight.

Thanks for reminding me. I need to go over mine but it just takes so much time and I don't want to do just part of them because I know I'll never get back to the rest until the next time. Need to cull some stuff. I got rid of something like 35-40 pieces a few years ago but could stand to let go of at least that many more. I really need to get down to a few carry pieces, SHTF stuff and some range plinkers. The rest can go.

i tossed a lot of junk and everyday crap the last few years.

only thing i collect now are pre-1945 handguns and enfields. thats it, nothing else really interests me.

about all I have to get is a Legit .22 trainer, sniper setup and a MKV . Irish contract would be nice but .. that much $$$ for a fancy stock.

Fair enough, but why limit yourself to the period of European conflict? Just not interested in imperialism or the cold war anymore?

I'm just curious.

cold war stuff is meh.. dime a dozen.

Older stuff tends to be ridiculously $$$ and fragile. I have some pre 1900 shit and if shipping wasnt so $$$ it would be gone tomorrow.

Cool. Understood.

Hopefully my collection gets so big that I get bored with it too. For now though, all I want to do is add more. I was drooling over classic arms recent Finnish M39 imports but don't have enough cash saved to justify it.

I've got my Lithgow No1 MKIII and my POF No. 4 and that's about it for Enfields.
