I shot my Saiga 7.62x39 today. The picture below represents 10 shots rapid fire at 50 yards (aiming at the 3 orange dots). I really don't understand the claim people always make about how inaccurate AKs are. My experience has been otherwise.

most claims are BS or blamed on the short sight radius/ piss poor marksmanship



I've grouped AK's up to 675 yards. ( about worthless by then)

I don't like the AK iron sights and have mounted a Primary Arms 2MOA small red dot on all of my AKs. The word must be out on this sight as the price keeps increasing i.e., having gone up 20 dollars in the last two weeks.

keep in mind ... AK sights were based off of russian doctrine of squad sustained fire @ 300 metres.
