I had to get one to remove the large nut on the hub. Geez. All the times I used cheater pipes and extensions and all I had to do was get an air wrench. I guess next I will invest in a ratchet.

Just don't be tempted to tighten lug nuts with one. Otherwise enjoy your new toy.

Yeah no doubt, although the guys at tire shops sure use them on lugs. Makes me wanna holler

I have tightened thousands with a impact wrench( that is what us mechanics call them ) and have never had a problem. Just make sure the nut or bolt is threaded on by hand before they are tightened down to prevent accidental cross threading. The final torque should be with a torque wrench if you want to take them time.

If you can,pick up a electric one.I got a Dewalt one about 3 years ago,and it has been really handy.when I'm not near the air compressor.
