Why would you leave cash in your vehicle? I can see if you have a bunch of firearms maybe not bringing them all inside the room with you but cash?

This is why people are so reluctant to leave their homes during an emergency, not to mention that while they are away, people break into their homes, too.

I'm just glad those people had Sheppard Smith to warn the kids. There is no telling how many children were saved by his warning. Probably thousands.

What ever happened to "Looters Will Be Shot On Sight"? Oh yes, we are now a kinder gentler society. At least if you are a criminal.

Didn't see it reported that anyone saw the break ins so shooting on site would be a little difficult. Still don't understand how someone leaves cash in their car.

I can see maybe leaving some toll road/gas money in the center console, but leaving wads of "evacuation" cash in a vehicle is nuts.

Love that pic. I have it saved also. I think it's Katrina 2005.

Hurricane Matthew was not hard on the Charleston area, hell my power was only out for 20 hours total! The next one could be worse than Hugo, no guarantees.
