Checked my email this morning and had a $20 coupon from Cabelas. Been wanting one of their Buck 110 "Alaskan Guide" folders with S30v blade and rosewood scales for a year or so and last I heard they were running low so figured this was as good a time as any to get one.

Needed $120 order to get the $20 off so added a Buck 119 Special fixed blade to meet that requirement. Had been meaning to pick up a 119 at Wally World and their price isn't much cheaper if any than Cabela's so figured I'd fill two niches in the collection in one swoop.

Probably only saved a little bit but every little bit helps and I really want a 110 with S30V. My BCCI members knife I ordered awhile back has it but those won't ship out until December. Not a huge fan of coated blades but as you other collectors/acculumators know, variety is what keeps it fun.

Here's a couple of links to the knives.

Finally got a chance to snap some pics. Both knives are very nice. The 119 really surprised me. The phenolic handle is a little slippery but feels oh so good in the hand an the clip point blade is very sexy.

The AG 110 is a real looker and with the S30v blade I expect it to be an excellent user as well. Anyway, enjoy the photos.
