Finally got around to taking some photos of the Marlin .22. I even put a 3-9x40 scope on it. Thus far I'd say I really like it. It's very well made and I like the fact I can easily take it down for a thorough cleaning when needed. It's a keeper!

I did buy it new, from one of our local gun shops. Price was $539.00 NIB. Scope was $199.

I took it to the range Thursday and got it sighted in at 50 yards, didn't save the target, but it is very accurate resting it off a sand bag. I killed two squirrels with it yesterday. :)

That looks great with the scope. See you have the hammer spur on there. Yeah i would say that is a keeper.

Luckily it came with the hammer spur, tho there's enough clearance either way. :)

That would be me, I got that EQ for a speaker project I was working on a few years back. I didn't use it much as I wasn't happy with my creation. My current speaks don't need the EQ as I can adjust the different drivers output with the electronic active crossover I use.:)

The 39A is a great rifle and built to last generations ...

I picked up my first one at a garage sale that was manufactured in 1949; it had endured years of neglect and I brought back to life with a Century limited octogon barrel and forend a few years ago. Its smooth and a great shooter ... I liked it so well that I picked up another a few weeks ago, manufactured in 1981.

Nice!

If you want a "vintage" look, find a 3/4" tube, low power scope.;)
