Have always wanted to get a rifle in this caliber.

Henry's are top of the line firearms, but I've always preferred to have a rifle that wasn't dedicated to the .22 mag. I like the option of being able to switch between .22 LR and .22 mag, depending on which ammo is more readily available.

So, I went this route:

Schuetzenman is right. That's a nice looking gun.

I'm not a big fan of Henry rifles as I have found them to be on the heavy side.

Recon, I have had a Marlin bolt-action in .22 Mag for many years, along with a 10/22 and another Marlin bolt in .22 LR. They are paired with the Ruger Single Six with the twin cylinders. The problem with it is it is a single action. That's why I got the Keltec PMR-30 two years ago. Now I have a slow-to-fire pistol paired with the SA 10/22 and the fast Keltec with the slow bolt Marlin. Three rifles, 2.5 handguns, 2 ammos.

So, your next purchase, if you don't already have one, will be a .22 Mag pistol to go with that Henry.

Have fun! :smiley31:
