No liberals, no idiots, no MSM, no cell service, no problems! Plenty of food, infinite fresh water from the springs, and no shortage of tranquility. I recently made my annual pilgrimage to the Allegheny National Forest in NW Pennsylvania to escape from all the idiocy of the world. All I bring is a pack with the basics, a little food, and a hammock for bed time. All alone except for Mother Nature and a pistol. If it wasn't for a job and a wife, I would live out here like my late uncle did.

Great pics. I used to do a lot of backpacking & camping in the Daniel Boone National Forest in central KY when I was young. Those photos remind me a lot of that wonderful time.

Awesome. I live in the wiods maybe 13 miles from the nearest gallon of milk or gas. I live it. Strangely, I still love to go out even farther. Have fun Bro.

How were the bugs?Had some skeeters and ticks during the day, but no issues at night due to how chilly it got.

It's always very refreshing heading out to the woods, whether it's just a day or many days. Altarboy, that's the way to live! The only time it sucks is when you need that one little item from a store.
