I've got a Valmet M71S that I may unload at the gun show. I've got a factory 15-rounder, 2 factory 30-rounders, and 9 converted Weigers. The Weigers were cleaned up, converted by a professional machinist, then parkerized. They are beautiful and run flawlessly. How much should the mags sell for individually? I'll try to sell it as a package deal, but will break it up if somebody wants to give a decent price on the mags. Also, what kind of price Should I ask for the whole setup? I was thinking about $1,700 sounded fair. What say ye?

Sounds like a fair asking price to me.

How about the mags individually? I've seen factory mags go for $150. How much should a nice converted Weiger go for?

I've seen from $55 to $95 depending on condition and demand on converted mags. Maybe more over the counter at a shop... I've seen them on gunbroker for more but they normally stay listed forever...

I'm tempted, I don't have a M71... I do have a M62, M76(.223), M78, & M82...

FWIW, there are two M71s on gunbroker right now with buy-it-now prices of $1,190 and $1,395 with one mag.

I generally check the Completed Auctions to see how much an item fetched rather than checking what other people were asking. The high-end, overpriced stuff seems to stay there forever. I'm actually looking to move this stuff with a modest profit, not have it for sale for 2 years with a high reserve and no bids.
